Let me get to the point. Oddisee is dope. He makes sick beats, and they’re not only good for freestyling over, but they’re also great to listen to just as instrumental music. His compositions involve lots of soul influence. This is the second installment in the Odd series. I’m assuming there’ll be an Odd Winter coming around, well, the winter.
It’s really cool because the albums each have a distinct theme, and I think that’s what helps make them so memorable. “Grey’s Anatomy” is a track I like a lot off of Odd Autumn, but I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the TV show, seeing as I don’t watch it.
All in all, Odd Autumn is a great album, but I don’t think it’s as good as Odd Summer. I just really liked the whole laid back theme of Odd Summer, and it really went well with my summer experience. Odd Autumn sounds a lot more fast-paced, and if that’s what you’re looking for, this is the album for you. And, hey, it’s free, so that makes it even more enjoyable.
